About us

Accessible climate action for everyone

Climate Club began as a volunteer passion project between three friends. They wanted to get involved in fighting climate change, but didn’t know how to start; they hadn’t studied climate change, or worked in a related role, and they have limited spare time outside of their day jobs. Then they realised that lots of Kiwis feel the same way.

The folks at Climate Club inspire and empower you to act on climate change. They take your feeling of helplessness and overwhelm and turn it into something worthwhile with clear and direct actions you can do every week.

Great detail delivered with joy.

– Bernard Hickey, The Kākā

I think it makes a difference. It’s a good way for me to take regular action without becoming overwhelmed with the scale of the problem.

– Fiona McDougal

I love how you invite us as readers to take bite sized climate actions and showing how our actions done collectively as a community can make a difference – thanks so much for inspiring me. I look forward to your writing in my inbox each week.

– Sonia Groes-Petrie

I support your work because it offers simple and achievable ways to make a difference and anything that helps the fight against climate change is worthwhile.

– Anna Mahoney

I think what you are doing is really necessary, pulling people in at all levels of commitment is so worthwhile, offering smaller or bigger options so people can feel their time well used, constructive. Empowering: being the change you want to see. to work on this it is so essential. A deep bow to you all.
